This station produces the "Big Broadcast", a program similar to the Hit Parade. They maintain extensive archive files that you can download. You can listen to the live broadcast that commences at 8.00pm, Sunday evening, USA Eastern Time, approximately 11.00 am on Monday mornings in Canberra (Daylight savings add one hour)

This station also has live broadcasts over the web and specialises in Jazz. Of interest, is 24 hours of Louis Armstrong on his birthday, July 4.
CYCLINDER PRESERVATION AND DIGITISATION PROJECT
With funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the UCSB
Libraries have created a digital collection of over 6,000 cylinder
recordings held by the Department of Special Collections. In an effort to
bring these recordings to a wider audience, they can be freely downloaded or
streamed online.
On this site you will have the opportunity to find out more about the
cylinder format, listen to thousands of musical and spoken selections from
the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and discover a little-known era of
recorded sound.

This is a group that discusses all aspects of Australian Dance Music and the members have a broad knowledge of the entire field. They are very helpful and you will learn al lot just reading the emails. This is not a tedious or heavily used site. you will receive about 6 emails per week unless something important is being discussed.
