Knots is a work-in-progress showing of the material Ashleigh Hazel creates over a 4 day development in the Rehearsal Room at Belco Arts. Knots (working title) is being constructed to answer the question: What happens when a performance and a space are designed together as an integrated process? Hazel is developing Knots as a performance and installation that is responsive to audience interaction. This work explores how physical space primes people for certain kinds of experiences and interactions, as well as our relationships to space over time
