On 13 April at 1PM, the Palm Sunday Rally for Refugees will be held in Civic Square, near the ACT Legislative Assembly. Today, more people than ever have been displaced from their homes and countries by events not under their control. Yet both the ALP and the LNP support cruel and ungenerous policies towards refugees and asylum seekers, including mandatory detention and offshore processing. Gather with us to show that there are millions of Australians who don’t support these policies and instead want a decent and humane approach.
