On Sunday 9 July at 12:30PM, the Reel McCoy Film Group will screen “The Searchers”, a 1956 film directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne. The film is an American classic, a complex western, beautifully written, directed, and photographed. It follows two men as they search for a young girl abducted by Indians following a massacre. A special commemoration screening for the late Richard Keys, co-founder of the Reel McCoy Film Group. This was one of Richard’s favourite films.
