The Shearers’ Ball will be a great evening of dancing to live music from Canberra Celtic Band ‘Humbug’ and calling by Lance Green. 7pm start.
No experience required, no need to bring a partner.
All dances called and taught on the evening, Just come along in less formal colonial gear or smart casual dress and comfortable shoes and join in the fun.
Shearers’ Balls were usually held at the end of the shearing season before itinerant shearers moved away for a well-earned break or for other work. Let’s celebrate that dance tradition in style!
