Sanctuary Aus is a local child and family not-for-profit service, custom-built for the Canberra community by professionals with decades of therapeutic and management experience.
We provide professional therapeutic services for children and families in need and aim to build a safe and healthy community where families heal and connect to grow stronger together.
We support children and families grappling with a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to, autism and ADHD, and families who have experienced trauma. We provide personalised behavioural support at school or at home through our team of dedicated therapists.
Our groups such as Cool Kids with Autism and Club Mojo run on alternate school terms whilst our women’s carer support group runs every Thursday and includes lunch and a craft activity! We also provide ‘Circle of Security’ parenting classes.
The hands in our logo say it all: children raising their hands in play and for support. With a wonderful and diverse community raising their hands to join together and build a connected community, we’re able to keep our children safe.
