2XX Celebrating 50 Years. Exhibtion at CMAG
It’s not every day that you get to celebrate 50 years on the airwaves but that’s exactly what 2XX is doing at CMAG.
This exhibition tells fascinating stories of our community-grown station whose humble beginnings arose as Radio ANU to become Canberra’s beloved, 2XX in 1976. Drop in to soak up the radio vibes from the 1970s, '80s, '90s and beyond. Celebrating the changes across the decades in music, culture, activism, and art.

Friday, 14 August 2026 7:00 pm
The Baso
The difficult sixth album, Sans Souci saw us back with Camel producer Eddie Ashworth for sixteen sweet servings of shrewd social commentary slid inside some superb punk pop skins, including the green-tinged morality tale of “Bucket Bong”, the complicated relationship drama of “I Went Out With A Hippy And Now I Love Everyone Except For Her”, even trying our hand at sports metal with “Punisher”.
