At 6.00am, 2 July, 2026, 2XX will mark 50 years of broadcasting.
It’s a testimony to the energetic and visionary people who took the station through a shaky gestation to what we have today. It’s a testimony to the ongoing commitment of many people to a precious community service that champions causes neglected by mainstream media.
That’s quite an achievement and something worth celebrating.
